# Account & Security

> Manage language, Telegram notifications, 2FA, password, and critical account actions.

Manage your personal settings and security controls here.

## Profile

* **Email & User ID:** used for notifications and support.
* **Referral link:** copy and share to invite others to Flow Terminal.

## Language

* **Interface language:** select your preferred language.\
  Changes apply across the console.

## Notification channels

* **Telegram:** connect to receive alerts in chats/channels.
  * **Connect / Disconnect**
  * **Send test** (verify delivery)
  * Destination: direct chat or a group/channel where the agent has **post permissions**
  > You can also connect via [**Integrations → Telegram**](/integrations/index). In-app alerts work even without Telegram.

## Security

* **2-Step Verification (2FA):** enable to protect sign-in.\
  Follow the setup instructions in **Account & Security → 2FA**.
* **Password:** set or change your password.\
  Use a unique, strong password and update it periodically.

## Account actions

* **Log out:** end the current session.
* **Disable account:** suspends access and stops alerts/event actions.\
  Contact [**Support**](/overview/support) if you need to restore access later.

## Troubleshooting

* **No Telegram messages after connect?**\
  Use **Send test** → ensure the agent is in the target chat with **post permissions** → re-select the destination.
* **2FA issues (lost device)?**\
  Contact [**Support**](/overview/support) for recovery. Be ready to verify ownership (email, org/workspace details).
* **Referral link not working?**\
  Re-copy from Account; if still failing, share the link with Support along with a timestamp.

## Privacy & data

* We read **public on-chain** data and connected providers.
* We **never** ask for seed phrases or wallet spend permissions.
* For sensitive matters, email `security@flowterminal.com` or open a ticket and mark it **Security**.
